1- Shah Ghasem Dam , The dam is situated 15 km to Yasooj city . The area neighbouring the dam is full of natural attractions . People can do water sports . water of the dam irrigates surrounding lands . Tourists visit this place to rest and recreate throughout the year .

منطقه اي كه اكنون كهگيلويه –بوير احمد نام دارد داراي پيشينه تاريخي كهن است . هر چند در گشته اي نه چندان دور ، جز ء يكي ا ز بلوكهاي فارس بوده و پشت كوه ناميده ميشد كه خود شامل دو قسمت ميشد : شمال شرقي كه انرا سردسير و كوهستاني و پشت كوه ميناميدند و قسمت جنوبي و غرب كه نره كوه و بهبهان ناميده ميشد . در

Historic background
The region which is called Kohgiloye has a long history . In the near past , it was one of the districts of Fars province , consisting of two parts being thre north eastern that wa s cold and mountainous and the southwestern sector which had tropical weather and was formerly called Behbahan Kooh, Till June 23, 1963 a part of the present province of Kohgiloye was affiliated to the Khuzestan province and a part to Fars province . In November 6, 1959 , the tropical part of Behbahan was changed to the township of Kohgiloye with its center as Dehdasht . the same was a party of Khuzestan province and the remaining to the province of Fars . On July 13,1963, KOhgiloye was seprated from Fars and Khuzestan province .
According to the approval of the the then Parliament it came under the governor general and Yassoj which which was till then devoid of inhabitants , was assigned as its center . In March 1974 Kohgiloye was changed to a province .
