جاذبه های مازندران/ کلاردشت

   Located  in the  heart of Alborz Chain Mountains , Kelardasht  is one of the  most  gifted  places  in Iran  surrounded  by beautifula   mountains  , wonderful  lush  jungles , rivers  and a  lake.

  Situated  at an  attitude  of 1, 250  m   above  sea level , the  landscape  includes  valleys  and  hills   covered  with  trees. Great  hikings  trails , streams  suitable  for fishing  and Valasht  lake  make  it a  paradise  for  nature  enthusiasts . Some  Iranians  call it Iran's heaven.

 Its attractions  mainly   consist of  its natural  beauty  and   cooler  climate  but  picnicking  and  mountain   climbing  is also popular.

                  Handicrafts

   The  most  important  handicrafts  of  the province  are Baluchi needlework, rug and small  carpet weaving  , coin work , mat weaving  , pottery , jewel making , raw silk work , traditional clothweaving  and  instrument making.

   Among these  the  following  stand  out  as  very  special .

  Needlework  due  to its   fitness , variation , and  different   users.

  Rug and small   carpet  because  of the  high quality   of the   local  raw  agricultural  materials  and beautiful  patterns.

   Coin  work  because  of its  variation  and  use  in weddings and celebration.

 Pottery  due  its  being  handmade with  long  local  background.

 Mat weaving  because  of the  abundance of different  species  of wild  palm and   the variety  of products.
